Visit London has published the results of its 2006 London Attraction Monitor, which surveys the popularity trends of attractions in the capital.
The monitor – a sample of 65 attractions – has revealed that the number of people visiting museums, galleries and other attractions in London increased by almost 10 per cent last year.
It appears that the negative impact of the July 2005 bomb attacks has been short-lived, with visitor levels returning to normal at most attractions.
In addition, free and large attractions witnessed their highest visitor numbers in December, most likely owing to Christmas and ice-skating events hosted at the facilities. Details: wwww.visitlondon.com
