Legoland California is to unveil a 1/70 scale model of the new Freedom Tower which is to be built on the site of the devastated World Trade Center in New York.
The 25ft (7.6m) tower will be the tallest Miniland structure ever built at the 128-acre (5,500sq ft, 520sq m) theme park.
It is being introduced as part of a general renovation of its Miniland New York area.
Five lego buildings will be completely rebuilt while others will be cleaned and recoated. The Central Park Zoo exhibit is also being redesigned.
The renovation will be completed by 11 March 2005.
