Lawsuits mount against Alabama theme park developer
POSTED 08 Apr 2016 . BY Tom Anstey
Bryan Robinson (left) was touted as a top investor for the DreamVision project
A businessman touted as a top investor in a multi-billion dollar multi-theme park proposal for Alabama is facing legal drama stemming from the seemingly failed project.

A lawsuit was filed against Bryan Robinson on 4 April, regarding failures to fulfill financial obligations, the third such lawsuit to be filed against him in under a month.

The latest lawsuit, filed by the Greater Alabama Building LLC at the Lauderdale County circuit court, alleges that Robinson failed to pay rent at his business address in Florence, defaulting on monthly payments.

Robinson’s DreamVision theme park plan has been silent since September, when Provident Global Capital, the company behind DreamVision and operated by Robinson, announced a new division known as PGC entertainment.

In an official statement, the company said DreamVision “is undergoing a corporate restructuring” and that Provident Global Capital “remains a dedicated partner”. The statement, titled “Theme Park Plans Still Ongoing” also said that land acquisition negotiations are underway for both parks and on track to be announced by the end of the year.

Despite this most consider the plan dead in the water with mounting lawsuits and seemingly no further investment in the scheme.

Robinson has not yet responded to the lawsuits.
