Tennis coach Judy Murray, mother of US Open tennis champion Andy Murray, is to appear before a committee of Scottish MPs later today as part of an inquiry into how grassroots sports are run in the country.
The Scottish government's health and sport committee, lead by Duncan McNeil MSP, will seek to establish whether barriers exist that "prevent Scottish communities engaging with sport at the grassroots level".
Judy Murray's appearance comes a week after
she and son Andy called for a new national tennis academy to be established in Scotland.
