Global Wellness Summit chair and CEO Susie Ellis says she is looking forward to hosting a record number of attendees at this year's event
The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) has attracted sponsorship support from thirty-six companies and organisations for the 10th annual Summit, taking place in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, Austria (October 17-19).

Sponsors span a wide array of industries and hail from 14 different countries. The 10th annual conference’s theme, “Back to the Future,” will explore the future of wellness, while celebrating its history.

“This year’s conference theme reflects its location, Tyrol, Austria, a place where many modern-day wellness practices originated and where wellness is a way of life for both visitors and local residents,” said Susie Ellis, chair and CEO of the GWS. “We are looking forward to hosting a record number of attendees in the historical, alpine city of Kitzbühel. Once again, we’re thrilled to have unprecedented support from our twenty-five returning sponsors, and express our deep thanks and a warm welcome to the eleven first-time sponsors that join us this year.”

Tirol Werbung, Kitzbühel Tourismus and Wirtschaftskammer Tirol, three entities focused on raising awareness of the Tyrol, Austrian region, have teamed together as host sponsors for this year’s Summit.

Wellness media, marketing and gifting company Spafinder Wellness is returning as a multi-year sponsor supporting the this year’s Industry Research, an update of the Global Spa & Wellness Economy Monitor.

Lifestyle brand BuDhaGirl, whose mission is to affect cultural change by turning everyday routines into rituals, returns as a Platinum Sponsor for a second year.

Five of the six Gold Sponsors – Biologique Recherche, Delos Living LLC, Gharieni, Lemi Group and Universal Companies – return this year, and the Summit will also welcome Canyon Ranch as a first-time Gold sponsor.

Shark Tank of Wellness – this boldly reconceived Student Challenge competition is open to students around the world and sponsored by Chiva Som, ESPA, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Jane Iredale, KLAFs and ResortSuite.
