A US$110m waterpark is being planned for Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US.
The Texas-based company Schlitterbahn is behind the scheme, which would see two stadia near the city’s executive airport converted into a major water park resort over the next two years.
One stadium would be completely demolished, while the other would continue to be used for team sports.
City Commissioners are due to meet with Schlitterbahn in the coming days and weeks to negotiate a deal for the use of the stadia.
