Edinburgh's science-based visitor attraction, Our Dynamic Earth, has been awarded a five-star grading by VisitScotland.
Since opening in 1999, Our Dynamic Earth has received more than 1.3m visitors. The attraction is only the fifth in the city to receive this award, which was given in recognition of an exceptional standard of facilities and services.
Lorraine Thomson, quality and standards manager at VisitScotland said: 'Only four per cent of the 900 attractions in our scheme have reached the five-star grade, which denotes an exceptionally high standard of all aspects of visitor provision.'
