The Elvis-A-Rama museum, in Las Vegas, was burgled last Sunday, resulting in more than $320,000 worth of Elvis Presley’s jewellery falling in criminal hands.
Around 80 per cent of the museums jewellery collection was stolen during the late night raid.
However, the most valuable item in the collection – the singer’s original pair of blue suede shoes which have been valued at around $1m (£545,000) – were left behind.
The owner of Elvis-A-Rama, Chris Davidson, has collected all the items at the museum and the collection is recognised as the largest private collection in the world. Details: www.elvisarama.com
