Eden Project voted favourite modern building

The Eden Project in Cornwall, south-west England, has been voted as the UK public's favourite modern building.

A YouGov poll of 2,039 Britons saw the visitor attraction pip 30 St Mary Axe (also known as the Gherkin) in London for the title.

Other attractions in the 10 best-loved buildings included the Great Court at the British Museum and Tate Modern. Details: www.yougov.com
