China’s largest ebony museum is reportedly due to open on 1 May in south-west China‘s Sichan Province.
The Ebony Culture Museum will house 381 pieces of ebony artwork, with a view to including ebony sculptures.
The second phase of the two-part construction project is expected to be completed by the end of 2007 at an estimated cost of 200m yuan (US$25m, £14m, 21m euro).
