Detroit Children's Museum (DCM) has announced that it been forced to shut once again due to the ongoing financial problems affecting Detroit Science Center in Michigan, US.

Last September, both attractions temporarily closed to the public as a result of "financial hardship" and to draw up a new strategic plan. However, the science attraction is yet to reopen.

DCM director Julie Johnson said: "Due to continued financial problems at the Detroit Science Center, the DCM will be closed until further notice."
