Merlin Entertainments has opened a new attraction, called Venom, at the Brighton Sea Life Centre.
The new exhibition comprises a collection of the world’s most deadly sea creatures – including a highly venomous sea snake – in a themed environment which dramatically displays the creatures.
Cubic Design conceived the new exhibit. Creative director Mike Hubbard said: “The fast-track project took only four weeks to complete and had the added complications of keeping both the public and the staff safe from these potential deadly creatures.”
Toby Forer, senior general manager of the Brighton Sea Life Centre, added: “Cubic have successfully used multimedia techniques to promote fun learning through interaction.”
The exhibition will be transferred to another Sea Life Centre, possibly Birmingham, at the end of the summer.
In addition, Merlin is set to start work on a seal pool and a separate penguin pool at the Brighton Sea Life Centre at the end of the summer. Details: www.merlinentertainments.biz
