Springboard UK has extended the deadline for submitting entries for its 2006 Awards for Excellence until 10 October.

Now in their fourth year, the awards celebrate and reward the most inspiring people, organisations and initiatives proactively working to raise the profile and perception of the industry as an employer and attract new talent.

The awards are divided into three categories: promoting careers, attracting people and best employment practice.

Nominations can be made by individuals, teams or partnerships for relevant initiatives which have achieved results over the past 12 months. Details: www.springboarduk.org.uk/awards
