Entrepreneur Richard Caring has secured a £105m majority stake in private members’ club group Soho House, according to the
Sunday Times.
It is understood that Caring has bought out a number of small shareholders to secure around 80 per cent stake in the club.
The billionaire businessman already owns a portfolio of upmarket restaurants and clubs in London, including The Ivy, Annabel’s and Le Caprice.
The Soho House chain comprises of six clubs, four in London and one each in New York, US, and Somerset.
It also owns a chain of restaurants and the Cowshed brand for spas.
