VAC 2022 has announced the final line-up of 25 top attractions sector speakers set to appear at the conference on Thursday 13 October.

Speakers at VAC 2022 will include Patricia Yates (new CEO of VisitBritain), Kate Nicholls OBE (CEO of UK Hospitality), Bernard Donoghue OBE (CEO, ALVA) and Andy Street CBE (Mayor of the West Midlands), as well as directors and managers from Birmingham Museums, Blenheim Palace, the Black Country Living Museum, Chester Race Company, Chichester Festival Theatre, Matlock Farm Park, the National Football Museum, Titanic Belfast, Tower Bridge, and the National Trust.

More than 150 delegates are expected to descend on Birmingham’s fantastic ICC Conference Centre to hear all about the latest developments in the operations and marketing of a visitor attraction.

"The last 10 days have seen the UK come together in love and respect for the late Queen Elizabeth II," said the organisers.

“The set-up and management of ‘The Queue’ in London has demonstrated worldwide how the UK can manage over a quarter of a million visitors in line over a four-day period, and many hundreds of hours and the expertise of numerous people in the sector went into this.

"Now that we emerge from the nation’s period of mourning, and once again hear on the daily news of the emerging cost-of-living crisis and a tough winter to come, new ideas for attracting and managing visitors in your own attraction have probably never been more welcome."
