A new aquatic visitor attraction at the Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo in Surrey will be opened to the public in March 2008.

The Sea Life Centre will showcase more than 20 displays featuring a wide scope of marine life, from starfish to sharks and stingrays.

The 250,000 litre aquarium will include interactive touchpools, exhibitions and a walkthrough ocean tank.

General manager Mike Vallis said: “This is an exciting development for Chessington and underpins our commitment to develop our amazing animal experiences in association with our new owners, Merlin Entertainments Group.”
