Sports facilities will be combined with a neighbourhood centre in a £10.85m development due to get underway in Coventry next month.
Part of a far-reaching regeneration of the Wood End area of the city, the building will have a four-court sports hall, a gym, a multi-use room, a café, a synthetic pitch, a multi-use games area and a creche. Alongside this will be a number of agencies, including Children’s Services and New Deal for Communities.
Construction is scheduled to start next month and it is expected to take a year to complete.
