Leading spa managers honoured at HOTel&Spa Forum in Paris

The international jury at the seventh annual Forum HOTel&SPA on 19 June – held at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, France – awarded three top spa managers, from a choice of finalists spread across five different countries.

Taking into consideration the qualities of all the candidates, the jury designated three separate awards to top spa managers based on their career to date or a simple action that earned the recognition of their peers.

In first place, Estelle Gomez achieved the Black Diamond Award for her role as spa manager of the Chalet Royal Hotel & Spa in Switzerland.

The Blue Diamond Award was given to both Melina Pourcel, spa manager for the Parisian Six Senses spa, and Dr Sven Greiner from Hotel Schwarzbrunn, Austria.

In joint third place, receiving the White Diamond Award, was Adilia Oliveira from The Yeatman in Portugal and Inez Waschl of the Ritz Carlton in Vienna, Austria.

Professionals from European countries came to hear international experts share their hotel and spa industry knowledge. Experts included GOCO CEO Ingo Schweder, international director of spa for Guerlain Roger Allen, and Louis de Vilmorin – director of Thermarium in Austria.

The Forum will take place again next year at the same hotel on 28 May.
