Canada’s Wonderland unveils new interactive dark ride
POSTED 04 Jun 2014 . BY Aimee Nash
Riders are transported under the park’s mountain where they interact with mythical creatures en route to the dragon's lair
Multi-sensory attractions company Triotech has launched an interactive dark ride at Canada’s Wonderland, featuring the longest interactive wall ever integrated into a theme park attraction.

Wonder Mountain’s Guardian allows guests to experience a 3D adventure enhanced with 4D effects and interactivity in a combination interactive dark ride and coaster.

Riders are transported under the park’s mountain where they interact with mythical creatures while travelling through diverse environments – such as a forest, underground lake and a city – before reaching the dragon’s lair at the mountain’s core for a dramatic finale.

Triotech developed and installed the longest interactive wall ever integrated into a theme park attraction, to bring the journey to life. The wall is 500ft (152m) long and 13ft (4m) high.

“Guests of the theme park will experience new thrills and actively participate in the ride,” said Ernest Yale, president of Triotech.

“Feedback has been exceptional over the opening weekend with riders giving the attraction strong positive reviews.”
