Following its successful launch in Dublin last year, Santa's Kingdom is set to open next month at three venues in the UK.
Costing £6m three Santa's Kingdoms will open at the Wembley Exhibition Centre, SECC in Glasgow and the NEC in Birmingham and will comprise a play area of 250 tonnes of real snow, an ice cave and Santa's Village.
Each will offer a two and a half hour family experience and aim to attract 160,000 visitors. Gerry Bolger ad Padraig O'Hara, two Irish businessmen and fathers, came up with the concept of Santa's Kingdom after becoming disillusioned with visits to department store grottos. Silent Associates are designing the Kingdoms, which will each take around 22 days to build.
