New four-floor Crayola Experience to launch in Pennsylvania, US
POSTED 25 Apr 2013 . BY Aoife Dowling
A new Crayola Experience is set to open in Easton, Pennsylvania, US with four floors and 18 interactive attractions on 24 May this year.

From personalized crayon-makers to larger-than-life animated art adventures, the all-new Crayola Experience is designed with the aim of helping children discover the "magic of colour" and reconnect with the brand.

Jack Rouse Associates (JRA), is responsible for the planning, design development and project management for the 60,000sq ft (5,574sq m) of exhibits, interactives and activities, with exhibit fabrication provided by 1220 Exhibits, Inc.

Throughout the attraction, guests will be able to create digital works of art and interact with them on large projected surfaces, appear in their own colouring page with some of Crayola's characters, learn how crayons are made in the Crayon Factory, and create objects with melted wax.

The experience also offers guests the chance to use colour mixing to create their own clear barrel marker in Marker Mania and fashion their own crayon label in Wrap It Up!

A Café Crayola will also feature with Crayola-inspired foods from coloured cupcakes to design-your-own pizzas.

Mike Perry, CEO of Crayola said: "This brand and this business is fundamentally about sparking the creative spirit that we believe exists in the heart of every child.

"We believe that creativity has to be experienced. And that's what this place is all about."
