Old Beaupré Castle near Cowbridge, South Wales, is to reopen on 18 March, following the completion of crucial structural and conservation works.
The medieval manor house castle's Renaissance porch has been subject to the works, which were carried out in a bid to ensure the property remains in a "good state of repair".
Dating back to the 14th century, Old Beaupré Castle was modified during the Tudor period and is the responsibility of Cadw, the Welsh Assembly Government's heritage service.
Cadw head of presentation Jayne Rowlands said: "Essential works on the inner porch have been required to keep this magnificent manor house in a good state of repair."
