South Lakes Tourism Action Group and Cumbria Tourism have teamed up to launch a sat nav aide for coach drivers and group tour operators visiting the area.

The electronic travel guide provides help with navigation as well as information on the local area and attractions.

Dawn Hunter-Ellis, tourism officer for South Lakeland District Council, said: “The sat nav guides will be backed up with a new Best of Lakeland leaflet, which contains satellite navigation co-ordinates, further assisting groups and coach parties travelling around our beautiful area.” Details: www.golakes.co.uk
