The Brit Oval has seen the installation of a new PA/VA broadcast system from Millbank.
Millbank, a subsidiary of Vision Systems, was specified by installers Hilton's, the design for the new Vauxhall end having been conceived as a standalone system with a whole range of options.
Not only can it be used for giving instructions concerning the evacuation of the stadium and issuing other safety announcements, but also for relaying the everyday commentary and functional announcements that are necessary inside such a venue.
Further, it can provide entertainment, a concept which also includes music being routed to particular areas, with a range of local inputs specific to separate hospitality areas.
The original sound system at the older Pavilion End has been replaced – its three different buildings now being linked as one – and the new installation will be used to control it.
