The Databac Group has unveiled its Dataimage Kiosk, a new reception terminal which enables users to design their own kiosk solution.
A freestanding, plug-and-play terminal it can be configured for a range of public transaction applications and features modular hardware and customisable software, making it ideal for visitor ID, self-service at retail outlets, auto-check in at theatres, hotels, clubs and conferences, online searching and even online purchasing.
Dataimage Kiosk features a touch screen and fanless iPOS PC and comes preloaded with Databac's Dataimage Visitor software.
Depending on the application, the terminal can be fitted with a variety of devices, including keyboards, card printers, receipt printers, ID or credit card readers and biometric verification devices.
It can also connect to a rewritable plastic card printer for both visitor and loyalty applications. Where used for visitor control, rewritable cards like Data ReWrite can be branded in full colour, then printed and reprinted 500 times for
each new visitor. In loyalty schemes, clients can use the kiosk to update the information printed on
their personalised rewritable card.
Dataimage Visitor comprises 32-bit visitor control software for the management of visitors,
contractors and temporary personnel. Features include pre-booking via intranet, visitor insert design, self registration, visitor tracking,
tailored reporting and optional biometric verification. The software can be adapted to user requirements.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |
