Jack Rouse Associates is working with Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. on the planning and design of 'The Mind Museum', an innovative new science centre set to open just outside Manila in the Philippines.
The museum will serve as the cultural anchor for Bonifacio Global City, a new 593-acre development, and will feature 4,900sq m of interactive science and technology exhibitions within five major galleries.
Its goal is to convey important and accurate science principles through the use of interactive, multi-media and multi-sensory exhibits
firmly based in a story context.
Current story topics include The Universe, Life<>/I>, Nature, The Atom and Technology.
Each of the major exhibit galleries, or 'spheres', will include an iconic centrepiece which will be surrounded by 25 to 30 exhibits embedded within
the overall gallery aesthetic and/or architecture.
Corridors connecting the five spheres will provide further opportunities for interpretation and immersion within the various story themes.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |
