Alterface will collaborate with Jora Vision to create a one of kind experience |
|
Alterface has partnered with Jora Vision to create a new interactive dark ride at Legendia theme park in Silesia, Poland.
Bazyliszek, which is due to open next year, is based on traditional Polish folklore and will feature the latest in dark ride technology. It promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience.
Alterface will serve as the main contractor for the attraction and will oversee the overall ride experience, whilst Jora Vision will create the décor.
Laurence Beckers, special projects and technology scout at Alterface, says: “Entering the headquarters of the Monsters Hunters Guild, guests drive through an ancient village, dark caves, magical forests and ruins to fight all kinds of creatures. At the end of their journey they reach the Basilisk, the scariest monster of all ”
Guests are armed with a Monster Hunter Gun, an Alterface designed weapon that creates special effects using light and mirror technology.
Simeon van Tellingen, creative director at Jora Vision, says: “Guests will be given specific tasks in the queue and pre-show before boarding a vehicle that will take them on an exciting journey through the magical forests of Poland. Trees and plants come to life, aligning the scenery with the story and enhancing the ride experience.”
Ben Cornet, founder and CEO of Alterface, says: “We look forward to the opening of the Bazyliszek ride in 2018. This top-notch dark ride will boost the park’s visitors and put them firmly on the map in Europe. We look forward to visitors enjoying an unforgettable experience.”

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |

How surf simulators are transforming the experience economy |
|
The experience economy, driven by evolving consumer trends, is poised for continued growth
in the coming years. Millennials have been at the forefront of this shift, favouring
memorable experiences over material possessions. This preference has extended to other
generations as well, indicating a broader adoption of experience-focused spending habits
in the attractions sector. |
