SeaWorld Orlando in Florida, USA, is to unveil a new killer whale show in early 2006.
Believe has been created to mix killer whale behaviour with a new multimedia set design.
The centrepiece of the set will be a three-storey tail fluke, flanked by four 20ft wide video screens which can operate either as individual screens as or one 80ft panoramic screen to show the whales both above and below the surface.
The killer whales’ trainers have been working on new behaviours with the creatures for more than two years and they have a repertoire of nearly 160, 100 of which will be part of the new show.
Following the launch of Believe at the Shamu stadium in Orlando, the show will be unveiled at the SeaWorld parks in San Diego and San Antonio later in the year.
