The Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB) has appointed two new board members.
Bryan Holliday, ICMS Australasia managing director, has been elected in the Bureau’s convention category and Todd Coates, managing director of BridgeClimb, has been appointed in the arts and attractions category.
Holliday, who won the only contested positon this year, replaces International Conferences and Events (ICE) Australia director, Christine Dorner.
Coates takes over from Norman Gillespie, managing director of Sydney Opera house, who has resigned from the SCVB board.
SCVB managing director Jon Hitchison welcomed the appointments. ““Bryan and Todd are both very highly regarded in Sydney’s business events community and represent important organisations in our industry,” he said.
