Ensana has appointed Dr. László Puczkó as senior health spa advisor to enhance its integrative health service offering
Established in 2019, Ensana operates 28 hotels in six European countries, combining natural healing resources with modern medical expertise
Puczkó, with over 30 years of experience in health, wellness, and tourism, aims to refine Ensana's services to address contemporary health conditions
Puczkó has authored numerous publications and holds various professional affiliations in the health and wellness industry
European health spa operator Ensana has announced the strategic appointment of Dr László Puczkó as senior health spa advisor.

Established in 2019, Ensana manages 28 hotels across the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and the UK. It operates with an integrative approach to health, combining natural healing resources with modern medical expertise and advanced diagnostic methods to help guests achieve their personal health goals.

Under Puczkó’s guidance, the group aims tofurther refine its health spa services to address contemporary health conditions effectively, while adhering to its fundamental philosophy of utilising natural resources for healing.

Puczkó brings more than 30 years of experience in health, wellness and tourism to the role, and is known in the industry for his passion for wellness tourism.

With a background in economics, sociology and health tourism management, Puczkó has worked internationally as a consultant, advisor, trainer and researcher, assisting organisations in developing and improving their wellness and health-related services.

He has authored numerous publications and books on health tourism and wellness for organisations including the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Global Wellness Summit.

His work often focuses on integrating wellness principles into tourism and hospitality, ensuring services meet the evolving needs of consumers seeking health and wellbeing benefits.

“László’s extensive experience and expertise in health, wellbeing and travel make him the ideal leader for this exciting transition,” commented Frank Halmos, CEO of Ensana.

“He is one of very few individuals in the world who has been active in every aspect of the health, wellbeing and travel spectrums.”

Puczkó’s professional affiliations include being a research associate at the Wellness Tourism Association, a member of the European Historic Thermal Towns Scientific Committee, a faculty member of the Medical Wellness Association, a member of FEMTEC’s Commission of Tourism & Health and a member of the Global Experts Network of IGCAT.
