Miraval partners with Williams Sonoma for wellness kitchen
POSTED 29 Mar 2019 . BY Jane Kitchen
The expansive kitchens will allow the retailer to bring its brand to life in front of Miraval’s wellness-minded guests as they experience a suite of new healthy cooking classes and workshops
Destination wellness brand Miraval is unveiling two new, state-of-the-art Life in Balance Culinary Kitchens in partnerships with US speciality kitchen store Williams Sonoma at both Miraval Arizona and Miraval Austin.

Equipped with top-of-the-line products from the kitchen retailer, the expansive kitchens will allow the retailer to bring its brand to life in front of Miraval’s wellness-minded guests as they experience a suite of new healthy cooking classes and workshops created specifically for the new kitchens.

These new classes will include:

Plant-Based Cooking: Guests will learn how to create inspired, plant-based versions of their favorite foods such as spaghetti and “meatballs”.
The Secret Art of Sauces: In this hands-on class, guests will learn about the five French “Mother Sauces” and then create a healthier, “Miraval” version of one of the sauces from beginning to end.
Conquering the Blade: This class teaches guests how to choose the right knife and how to properly use it to create dishes that nourish the mind, body and soul.
Restoring Bone Broth: A hands-on workshop where guests will learn to reduce waste by using ingredients normally destined for the trash including animal bones, veggie scraps and leftover herbs to make a healing bone broth that improves digestion, joint health and the immune system.
Wheat-Free Baking: Miraval’s pastry chefs show guests how easy it can be to use alternative flours to create flavorful breads, pastries and desserts.

As part of the partnership, Miraval guests will have the opportunity to buy the tools used in all of the Miraval the classes via a dedicated URL on the Williams Sonoma website so that they can more easily recreate what they’ve learned in the workshops in their own homes.

Life in Balance Culinary Kitchens will open at additional Miraval locations including Miraval in the Berkshires in winter 2019.
