ClubIntel launches second annual fitness industry study

US-based brand insights and market research firm ClubIntel has launched its second annual fitness industry survey.

Designed to identify trends within the health and fitness sector globally, the survey will look to examine and chart new industry practices which have emerged over the past year. The results will be compiled and published in the International Fitness Industry Trend Report – What’s all the Rage in December 2016.

Stephen Tharrett, co-founder of ClubIntel said: “The International Fitness Industry Trend Report provides fitness and club professionals with an in-depth analysis of industry trends.

“The report brings forward critical data regarding which trends are emerging, growing, maturing or declining, and consequently affords professionals with the information they need to make the proper decisions regarding where there business needs to focus in the coming years.”

The study follows on from the inaugural 2015 report, which provided insights into the level of market adoption experienced by 90 different trends – and the level of growth experienced by each over time. It also identified and detailed “niche trends” which have a narrower scope of appeal.

Tharrett added: “The 2016 Report, like its predecessor in 2015, will layout the various trends in a matrix, allowing professionals to better understand what trends hold promise as future opportunities, and which trends may be peaking.

“In addition, the 2016 report will be able to show trends for the past three years, something no other industry report on fitness industry practices has done before.”
