National Fitness Day event finder goes live

More than 4,000 sites will hold events
An event finder for National Fitness Day has gone live.

By simply entering a postcode on the ukactive’s event finder webpage, those wanting to take part can find out what activities are available near to where they live.

Now in its sixth year, National Fitness Day will take place on Wednesday 7 September and is the biggest annual celebration of fitness and physical activity across the UK. The aim is to inspire people to get moving while making it easy and fun.

More than 4,000 sites will hold events, with leisure venues holding free physical activity taster sessions. People will be given access to gyms, health clubs, leisure centres and park sessions. Argos, a headline partner for the event, will be offering a range of activities throughout its 842 stores.
