Nestled between the Indian Ocean and the Kalu Ganga River, the Anantara Kalutara Resort is set to open in April, 2016 with both private river and lagoon frontage on Sri Lanka’s rugged southwest coast.
The 141-bedroom resort will include an Anantara Spa with six single treatment rooms and four double rooms, as well as a relaxation area, beauty salon and steam room. Therapists will offer journeys of ancient Asian beauty and wellness therapies, holistic ayurvedic rituals, western techniques, and even special treatments for children.
Yoga sessions will also be available in a pavilion at Anantara Spa, and a fully equipped fitness centre will look out on the Kalu Ganga River.
The 141 bedrooms, suites and villas will feature private balconies or terraces with gardens and either ocean or river views. The resort will have three restaurants, and will also offer cooking classes.
