A museum dedicated to the history of Mumbai's textile mills is to be built in India.
The museum, to be developed on the site of the former India United Mills in Central Mumbai, has been approved by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's Improvement Committee.
The 61,000sq m (656,600sq ft) will cost Rs 1.28bn (£17.4m), and Rs 2m (£27,670) will come from central government.
Cotton spinning and fabric making processes will be displayed, as will the traditional textiles and fabrics, and there will be exhibits about the lives of the mill workers.
