Splash Rail is a new gravity-propelled water adventure ride from SCS Interactive.
It's a single rail, coaster-like path which is designed to wrap around the company's Interactive WaterPlay™ product and from which riders whizzing past can spray people on the structure - and get sprayed back!
Two single riders can use the course at one time, first being secured in a reclining harness and then released down the rail path. A patented, gradient-controlled pad braking system guides their descent down to the bottom of the course, where they land in a pool of water.
The harness is then returned to the top using a water-powered motor.
Splash Rail - which can also be used as a standalone attraction - has various rail path configurations to choose from and operators can additionally select varying heights for further customisation.
