Todd Hougland to head up The Producers Group's new Florida office

Hougland has more that 30 years experience in the themed entertainment and attractions industry

The Producers Group (TPG) has announced the appointment of industry veteran Todd Hougland, who has been named general manager of TPG’s new office opening in Orlando, Florida.

The new Orlando office will give the company, which has offices in Los Angeles, Dubai and Shanghai, a direct presence in the world capital of theme parks and attractions.

Hougland joins TPG with more than 30 years experience in the industry. He has previously served as the executive director of Operations and Entertainment at Ocean Park Corporation in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the strategic and executive management of more than 2000 staff across 10 departments.

Hougland’s other roles include events and entertainment director at Ocean Park Hong Kong, and managing director for the European arm of Utopia Entertainment Inc. He is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive.

Hougland says: “I am very pleased to join The Producers Group and expand its presence into Orlando. Having many years of themed entertainment design, production and operation experience in theme parks across Europ and Asia, I look forward to being a part of this dynamic team and developing projects and clients from this new office in Florida.”
