The Central Museum in Utrecht, Dolfinarium in Harderwijk and Continium in Kerkrade have selected Syx Automations as a supplier for their leisure management software.
The Central Museum has an extensive collection of old and modern arts. The Dick Bruna Huis and the Rietveld Schröderhuis are part of the Central Museum as well. The entrances, shops and catering facilities of the three magnificent locations have been equipped with POS systems. Online ticketing, bookings and group bookings are also processed using the software system ReCreateX. The Central Museum chose for the cloud version of ReCreateX, which means all software is hosted in Syx Automations’ datacentre.
Dolfinarium in Harderwijk is the only Dolfinarium in The Netherlands and is part of the international group Aspro Parks, one of the most prominent European operators of recreational parks and centres. The park was founded in 1955 as a sideline activity of a shipping company and opened its doors to the public 10 years later. The park welcomes some hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. ReCreateX will be used as POS software, for ticketing and membership management. The files module will be used as well for booking day arrangements and events.
Continium is an interactive discovery museum allowing its visitors to experience themselves how the world works. In addition to the fixed exhibitions, in which you learn all about science and technique, there regularly are temporary exhibitions as well. In the specially equipped Science Labs you can make your own technical gadget that you can take home with you. For this museum as well Syx delivered the POS and booking software, as well as the online ticketing system. A fully integrated access control system with speedgates assures a quick and safe entrance. The self-service kiosk allows the customers to pick up their access ticket themselves by means of their e-ticket and museum card.
In addition, two high profile visitor attractions in the UK, The View From The Shard and Dreamland Margate were recently added to Syx’ customer portfolio.
“Syx is very proud that it can welcome these visitor attractions among our customers. This confirms that the daily efforts made by Syx Automations also lead to added value for the leisure industry,” says Edwin Hemkes, sales director of the Syx Automations Group.
“Our goal is to offer a leisure management software solution to the leisure industry that enhances visitor experience, but also simplifies their internal way of working. We are delighted that we can in this way help these visitor attractions.”
