A newly-opened museum in the Netherlands is using Syx Automations software for ticketing software and access control.
The National Military Museum (NMM) in Soest opened on 13 December 2014, welcoming 8,500 visitors in its first weekend.
Covering the history of the armed forces of the Netherlands, the museum’s collection features tanks, helicopters, fighter planes, uniforms, paintings and old printed papers and utensils.
Syx Automations delivered an in-the-cloud solution for ticketing sales and shop sales, with the NMM’s shop being equipped with a self-service kiosk.
A ‘visitor management’ module enables the NMM to maintain a live overview of the current amount of visitors in the museum, and extensive visitor number statistics can be generated. A website integrates ‘ReCreateX’ web services for online ticket sales.
