| Polin and Land of Legends win Leading Edge Award |

Polin Waterparks and the Land of Legends theme park have been awarded the Leading Edge Award for the Legends of Aqua waterpark.
The award, which recognises industry innovation through the combined efforts of parks and suppliers, was presented by World Waterpark Association (WWA) Chairman of the Board Steve Miklosi at the WWA Symposium and Trade Show in Florida last week.
This is the third time that the Turkish waterslide manufacturer has received the accolade, having previously won in 2014, with the Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark in Pattaya, Thailand, and again in 2016 for the company’s ‘expertise in innovation.’
Polin share the award with the Legends of Aqua waterpark at the Land of Legends theme park in Antalya, Turkey. Land of Legends is both the first Turkish park, and the first in the EMEA region to receive the award.
Sohret Pakis, director of Marketing and Communications for Polin, says: “It’s truly our ‘project of the year,’ the waterpark was a huge and truly unique project, and one of which we are immensely proud both in terms of design and experience and also in terms of the wide variety of waterpark attractions.”
Pakis adds: “We truly congratulate this amazing park. This award is so well deserved for the Land of Legends.”
