Pushing boundaries towards new and immersive experiences is our daily business
– Luc Peumans |
Belgium-based light and video design studio, Painting with Light, will translate the story of your location into a visual experience, using the art of ‘light architecture’.
By combining lighting, video, sound and special effects with scenic and architectural elements, the team of professional lighting and multimedia experts tell stories, create emotion and give your audience an unforgettable visual experience.
“Pushing boundaries towards new and immersive experiences is our daily business,” commented Luc Peumans, Painting with Light CEO.
As interest in architectural lighting and visuals gains traction, Painting with Light is working on a number of fixed installations in leisure parks, musea, experience centres, corporate building and other facilities all over Europe.
Examples of their previous work in Belgium include the impressive media façade for the Ghelamco Arena in Ghent – winner of the Stadium of The Year Award 2013 – and industrial monuments such as C-Mine in Genk, the winner of the City People Lighting award 2012. More recent work involved total show control, including AV and light design, for the new concept ‘Het Kunstuur’ in Mechelen, Belgium, and the rewarded Popcorn Revenge attraction at Walibi Belgium.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |

The experience economy, driven by evolving consumer trends, is poised for continued growth
in the coming years. Millennials have been at the forefront of this shift, favouring
memorable experiences over material possessions. This preference has extended to other
generations as well, indicating a broader adoption of experience-focused spending habits
in the attractions sector. |
