| Access control at the Micropia museum in Amsterdam |
 |
A newly-opened Amsterdam museum has selected Syx Automations software for its POS systems and access control.
The museum, called Micropia, claims to be the first in the world where the invisible world of micro-organisms is visualised. It was officially opened on 30 September by the Netherlands’ Queen Maxima.
In addition to POS systems and access control, the ‘ReCreateX’ software will also facilitate the registration, booking and financial processing of events, group bookings and guides planning. Services such as e-tickets, group bookings and facility bookings will be offered online as part of ReCreateX’s web services.
Micropia is part of the Royal Artis Zoo complex, with the software installation the first step of a complete go-live at the zoo. In the next steps, Micropia and Artis Zoo will be equipped with extra POS systems and manual scanners for access control.
