De pinxi of Belgium and Lagotronics Projects of the Netherlands have come to an agreement to collaborate in the field of interactive attractions.
Both companies have developed technologies that can be combined for a unique one-of-a-kind experience.
Among the products which Lagotronics designs and manufactures is a unique modular system suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments that triggers interactive events when targets are hit (TRIG2) or proximity is detected (RFID). In most cases, the devices are custom designed.
De pinxi has 20 years' experience in group interaction and 3D content that allows groups of people to play on the same screens simultaneously, creating immersive experiences with standard or custom designed content. The company creates 3D virtual reality environments and 3D life footage productions.
The purpose of the agreement is to combine the systems to create a unique attraction that can easily be modified to suit the needs of the client. It will be possible to combine and programme visible, virtual, 3D and game environments in one attraction.
The main application focus will be dark rides, walk-through rides and immersive experiences. The systems can be combined with little effort as both companies work on a modular basis.
The required internal modifications will be completed within the next few months.
