Interlink rides set for French and Swedish parks |
|
Water-based attractions company Interlink will be installing new rides in both France and Sweden for the 2011 season.
The two new rides are an Indian-themed mini flume for Euro Park in Vias Plage, southern France, and a Log Flume for Daftö Resort at Strömstad, Sweden.
The mini flume being built at Euro Park is a new addition to the Interlink portfolio and has been specially developed for the 3-8 year old age range. It will cover an area of 15m x 7m and feature a station length of 5m and a single lift and drop of 2m.
Water speed will be approximately 0.4m/sec and six boats will be used, each seating three passengers.
The Daftö Resort Log Flume will be a two lift standard flume ride, with a length of around 215m. It incorporates a 9m long station section and two lifts of 4m and 7m.
The maximum water speed will be 1.5m/sec and five boats, carrying five people each, will be used.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |
