DED has launched a complete EPoS package for the hospitality sector containing all the hardware, cables and drivers required.
The DEDPoS system contains the KS6215 Posiflex touchscreen terminal, featuring a 15in touchscreen, 1.5GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, 10/100 base T Ethernet plus additional ports.
Windows XP Embedded Point of Service (WEPOS) is preloaded onto each terminal, and each comes in an aluminium case with a high-gloss piano black front bezel.
The system's printer is the TSP100GT from Star Micronics, offering thermal printing at 250mm/second, which DED says equates to 45 receipts per minute.
It features drop-in paper loading, a guillotine paper cutter, and the facility to redesign receipts without changing software.
