The GTI Asia China Expo kicks off this weekend, as organisers claim demand for gaming and amusements in the country is set to increase.
With up to 250 participating exhibitors from the gaming and amusements industries, the GTI Asia expo promises to be one of the largest in its field.
Expo organisers said changes in electronic arcade management regulations have opened up the amusements market in China, while a new two-child policy – expected to be introduced later this year – means the audience for entertainment will continue to increase into the future.
The expo, which debuted in 2009, takes place at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou from the 28 to 30 August. Exhibitors include Wahlap, Andamiro, Guangzhou Shanzhifu Animation, Yi Eel Shang Enterprise, KN&U, Lu Xing Animation, World-Fun, Song Wang and Xingli Games
Travellers from 45 nations are entitled to 72 hours of visa-free entry to the city of Guangzhou when on the way to a third country.
