Details unveiled for Russia’s Dreamworks theme parks

Russian development company Regions Group has confirmed the locations of its
three Dreamworks-branded theme parks - which it says will be the largest
indoor themed amusement parks in Europe.

UK's Diggerland park announces groundbreaking US deal

Diggerland, the construction-themed adventure park with four locations in the
UK, is expanding into the US market. H.E. Services, the park’s creators, have
signed a partnership agreement with the owners of New Jersey-based
waterpark Sahara Sam’s Oasis to open a US version of Diggerland.

Six Flags park eyes Dubai for first international location

A Six Flags-branded theme park is finally coming to Dubai. A strategic
partnership has been signed between Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and
Dubai-based Meraas Leisure and Entertainment to open the new park in 2017.
It will be located within Meraas’ multi-theme park development in Jebel Ali.
Financial terms of the partnership have not been disclosed.

Museums at Night plans naked human installation to promote 2014 event

The organisers of Museums at Night – the annual after hours festival of arts,
heritage and culture at UK attractions – have taken a stripped-back approach to
promoting this year’s event by enlisting New York artist Spencer Tunick to
create a naked human installation in Folkestone.

Zamperla hopes to strike gold with Thunderbolt coaster

Ride manufacturer Zamperla is debuting its new rollercoaster in May at Coney
Island’s Luna Park. The Thunderbolt is Coney Island's first custom rollercoaster
since 1927, the year the renowned Cyclone was built, and the destination’s first
ever steel rollercoaster.

Harry Potter to cast spell over Germany with attraction debut

Global Experience Specialists’ travelling Harry Potter attraction is making its
German premiere in October. The 1,400sq m (15,069sq ft) exhibition, which
was created in partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products, takes visitors
on a magical journey through displays inspired by the Harry Potter ‘Hogwarts’
film sets, featuring authentic costumes, props and creatures.
