Oman national museum appoints Spain's Acciona

US zoo adds immersive US$70m wildlife habitat

A US$70m (€50.5m, £41.6m) full immersion outdoor habitat project has been
announced by Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Covering 113,312sq m
(1,200,000sq ft), African Grasslands will be the largest construction project in
the US zoo’s history.

New York Wheel project sets annual target of six million visitors

The world’s tallest observation wheel will be at the heart of a US$790m
(€571m, £471m) transformation of Staten Island in New York City that aims to
attract six million visitors annually. Construction on the New York Wheel will
begin later this year.

US$371m Sochi theme park nearing completion

Games has been given an official opening date of early June 2014 – but will let
its first visitors through the gates in May in what will be a soft launch.
