Safari Glamping gets wild at Chessington World of Adventures
POSTED 27 May 2016 . BY Helen Patenall
The safari-themed outdoor accommodation experience is located next door to Wild Asia
A safari-themed outdoor accommodation experience opens today (27th May) at Chessington World of Adventures Resort in Surrey, UK.

The new Explorer Glamping site located next door to the Wild Asia section of the theme park accommodates 31 glamping tents furnished with a double bed and two singles for a family of four. There are also a further four premium ‘Amboseli Tents' housing a king-size bed, plus a separate second sleeping area with three single beds and additional living space for larger groups or those wishing more privacy.

All the Explorer Glamping tents have access to shared shower and toilet facilities housed inside jungle-themed huts.

Overnight guests will also benefit from exclusive evening access to a selection of rides and attractions in the Wild Asia zone, where they can also dine at the new themed family Explorers’ Outpost restaurant.

Additionally, guests will receive a two-day pass to the park and access to the Rangers Club evening entertainment and Savannah Splash pool at Chessington’s existing on-site Safari- and Azteca-themed hotels.

Recent developments at Chessington World of Adventures include the Pandamonium Live Show launched in March, which features a life-size animatronic panda experience allowing families to get up close to these endangered animals, as well as a revamped Trail of Kings zone housing the zoo’s Western Lowland gorillas, Sumatran tigers and Asiatic lions.
