The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA) has launched an audio trail for visitors to the Ribblehead Viaduct.
Karen Griffiths, the YDNPA’s interpretation officer, said: “The authority has decided to reduce the number of new interpretation boards being installed in the national park because of the visual impact they have on the environment.
“Instead, we have decided to try virtual interpretation.”
Visitors can download the guided tour onto an ipod or MP3 player and print out information leaflets free of charge from home. Details: www.outofoblivion.org.uk
